With four hundred million depressed people worldwide, Chinese medicine has a formula with only three herbs that will cure!

With four hundred million depressed people worldwide, Chinese medicine has a formula with only three herbs that will cure!

According to the WHO, depression is already the second most common disease globally, with at least 400 million depressed people worldwide. This number is still conservative because most depressed people do not know they are depressed.

Mr. Leslie Cheung, a famous Hong Kong actor, committed suicide by jumping from a building because he suffered from depression, turning from a legend of his time into a tale. He once wrote in his autobiography: I think I may suffer from depression, as the source of the disease is dissatisfied with myself, unhappy with others, and more dissatisfied with the world. There are also foreign Mr. Bean, who was once famous worldwide, and Echo( SanMao), a modern Chinese literary writer, who was also severely afflicted by depression.

What is depression?

There is no clear definition of depression in modern medicine.

Many people attribute depression to personality or psychological problems, believing that only people with introverted personalities get depression. But the fact is that many comedians can also get depressed.

Whether you get depression is not directly related to whether you are introverted or outgoing, nor is it directly related to your age or gender.

Also, many people attribute depression to the environment of this era, related to the fast pace and high stress of modern society.

In my opinion, depression is just a name for a disease. The essence of depression is that a person's inner and outer parts are not in balance anymore. The physical and spiritual elements of a person are not in harmony.

Many people do not understand that these celebrities have achieved a lifetime of glory and wealth. Why would they still be depressed and choose to commit suicide?

In fact, the richer the external meritocracy, the more likely it is to be depressed.

The external merit should match the inner spiritual pursuit, and only then can one master the external goodness.

And if you are empty inside and do not have the appropriate energy to fill it, the external merit will become an onerous burden for you and the straw that crushes you.

And in such a materialistic age we are born, almost everyone is pursuing external material things, and few people seek internal cultivation.

So, most people need to be more balanced inside and out.

In the case of poor material conditions, you have no money, house, or car; you at least have hope and motivation to fight.

When having a house/car/money, many people suddenly lose motivation, lose the meaning of life, and fall into anxiety and depression in such a state.

Severely depressed people will feel that life has no meaning and think about suicide daily; in their opinion, death is the only way to solve all the pain.

What are the signs of depression?

In pre-depression, there are four typical symptoms as follows.

First, a low mood will often feel unhappy for no reason.

Second, slow thinking, unresponsiveness, and reluctance to talk to others.

Third, the subjective initiative decreases, causing a lack of enthusiasm for anything and an unwillingness to think actively and do something.

Fourth, some minor health problems include poor sleep, poor food, irregular bowel movements, etc.

From a TCM perspective, these symptoms are all deficiency symptoms.

Unhappiness is because there is no energy left inside and no ability to be happy.

Slow thinking and reactions are due to a deficiency of heart Yang and a malfunction of the heart's ability to harbor the spirit.

Lack of enthusiasm because of a deficiency of heart Yang and liver Yang.

The reluctance to work is due to the deficiency of Qi.

Depression: There are external factors of social environment, personality, and emotional reasons. Still, in the final analysis, these words are most appropriate: Yang Qi deficiency.

What is Yang Qi? Yang Qi is energy since there is not enough energy in the body, and we are still overdrawing energy to get things we don't want inside. These external things and the heart can't be harmonized, leading to frustration in the person, which is depression.

Solutions for depression:

The world is saying that there is no effective treatment for depression.

With depression, there are currently two main types of treatment.

One is to take anti-depressants. This anti-depressant does not cure depression and will eventually cause a complete breakdown, leading to greater tragedy.

Mr. Ni Haixia told a true story about a wife in the United States who was depressed, took anti-depressants for a long time, and finally became schizophrenic.

Another way is to go to a psychiatrist for treatment. No matter their method, psychologists return to one point and tell the patient: Be happy, cheer up; you can do it.

Does it work?

If the patient could pull himself together and cheer himself up, he wouldn't have depression.

Depression is not incurable; it's just that modern medicine is not well understood. Believe it or not, there are ways to cure depression in Chinese medicine.

The TCM approach to depression is to legislate from "Yang."

According to TCM, the root cause of depression lies in Yang energy deficiency, divided into two types.

One is a deficiency of Yang Qi, and the other is stagnation of Yang Qi.

So there are also two ways of thinking about treating depression: one is to Nourish Yang Qi, and the other is to access Yang Qi unblocked.

Mr. Li Ke has cured more than 100 cases of depression. How did Mr. Li Ke cure depression? He used only one sutra formula to cure depression, using the "Si Ni Tang (四逆汤)" of the medical sage Zhang Zhongjing.

Si Ni Tang: 9g of GanJiang(干姜), 9g of ShengFuZi (生附子), 6g of ZhiGanCao(炙甘草).

Many people may have doubts that this formula will be too simple. Can such simple three herbs cure depression?

The formula is straightforward, but it can cure a complex disease like depression.

How does this formula work? Note that this formula has used ShengFuZi; ShengFuZi is poisonous, so it needs to be decocted for 40 minutes to remove the toxicity.

For safety reasons, we use tiny amounts of current sutra prescriptions, and if we want to cure a disease, we need to enlarge the dosage to use the effect to be good.

How big to put it? It needs to be used according to the actual condition of the body. Add the amount of epimedium daily until the body perceives it.

This formula is named after "Si Ni Tang," which initially treats "coldness in the four extremities" and returns Yang to save the rebellion.

This Si Ni Tang uses the great spice and heat of dry ginger to disperse the cold Qi of the whole body and replenish the Yang Qi of the entire body, and the herb and heat of FuZi to reach the Yang Qi of the entire body and bring it to all parts of the body.

Why can Si Ni Tang cure depression? It is because Si Ni Tang replenishes the Yang energy of the whole body. Since Si Ni Tang can replenish Yang energy, it can enhance the inner energy to drive away negative energy.

He used this formula to treat depression, and in his lifetime, he cured more than 100 cases of depression with this formula alone.

You have to admire it! Admiration!

The 2nd formula for depression in TCM is treated with representative recipes of the Chai Hu. For example, Si Ni San(四逆散), Da Chai Hu Tang(大柴胡汤), etc.

Mr. Hu XiShu, a great master of Sutra prescriptions, used to treat depression with Chai Hu-type prescriptions, and the results were also outstanding.

Why can Chai Hu-type prescriptions also treat depression?

Another cause of depression is Yang Qi's block and closure.

In this type of depression, it is not really due to a lack of Yang energy, but instead, Yang energy is blocked and closed in the body, and Yang Qi cannot be in motion.

A formula such as Chai Hu is equally effective as it focuses on the circulation of Yang Qi and the unblocking of Qi and Blood to help open up these depressions in the body.

Some time ago, our team designed a foot soak formula -Si Ni Pai Hai Tang(四逆排寒汤) that combines Si Ni Tang and Si Ni San, which is mainly intended for modern people with cold feet and heavy cold dampness. For more details, please refer to this article:

Theoretically, this Si Ni Pai Hai Tang foot soak powder is also very effective for people with depression.

Finally, I have a few words to say to people with depression:

First, please relax; depression is not a disease. You don't have enough Yang Qi.

Secondly, using Chinese medicine to Replenish Yang Qi and pass Yang Qi smoothly can solve the problem at the root. To discuss the specific method, Si Ni Tang and Si Ni San are effective formulas, and insisting on foot soaking with Si Ni Pai Han Tang is equally effective.

Third, seek more inwardly and less outwardly to keep yourself in a relative inner balance. To talk about specific methods, please learn to break away externally and do only what is within your ability, cultivate your heart more internally, and do more things that make your heart genuinely joyful.

The world is saying that there is no effective treatment for depression.

When you think about it, that's half right.

If sought externally, there is no effective treatment.

If we seek from within, from the level of Yang energy, from internal and external balance, the depression will disappear.
